President Trump’s Strikes On Houthi Terrorist Followed By Threat Of War

President Donald Trump has warned Iran and Houthi rebels that he’s willing to go to war to destroy them if necessary, advising them not to attempt any more attacks on U.S. ships. And White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had his back, too.

At a glance:

• US conducted targeted strikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen following attacks on vessels in the Red Sea

• White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt labeled the Houthis as “terrorists” and criticized Biden’s policies for emboldening them

• Trump warned Iran it would be held responsible for any further Houthi attacks

• The Defense Department is prepared to continue military campaign if Houthis persist with retaliatory actions

• Leavitt emphasized the importance of protecting freedom of navigation in international waters

Trump Administration Takes Strong Stand Against Houthi Aggression

The Trump administration has demonstrated its commitment to protecting American interests and international shipping lanes through decisive military action against Houthi terrorists in Yemen. President Trump ordered strikes targeting Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen’s Hodeida governorate, including Bajel and a steel factory in Al-Salif.

The military operation successfully eliminated several Houthi leaders and critical infrastructure used to launch attacks against vessels in the Red Sea. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the Defense Department stands ready to continue the campaign if the Iran-backed militants persist with their aggressive behavior.

Leavitt Criticizes Previous Administration’s Middle East Policy

During her appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Leavitt placed the blame for the instability in the Middle East squarely at the feet of the former Biden administration.

“Joe Biden’s pathetic weakness invited these unacceptable attacks,” Leavitt said.

The Press Secretary emphasized that President Trump’s approach represents a significant shift toward protecting American interests and holding adversaries accountable for their actions.

The Houthi Health Ministry reported 53 fatalities and 98 wounded from the US attacks, while continuing to threaten further action against American forces. These Iran-backed militants have claimed their attacks on vessels in the Red Sea are linked to Israel’s operations in Gaza, a justification rejected by the Trump administration.

Trump Warns Iran About Consequences

President Trump has issued a clear warning that Iran will be held responsible for any further attacks by their Houthi proxies. The administration has established a direct line of accountability between Tehran and the actions of the militant groups they support throughout the Middle East.

“Any further attack or retaliation by the ‘Houthis’ will be met with great force, and there is no guarantee that that force will stop there,” Trump declared. This stance represents a significant departure from previous policies and sends a strong message to Iran about the consequences of continued aggression through proxy forces.

Leavitt reinforced this message during her Fox News appearance, stating: “President Trump has made it clear, Hamas, the Houthis, Iran, all those who seek to terrorize, not just Israel, but also, the United States of America, will see a price to pay, all hell will break loose.”

America has in Trump a leader that the rest of the world fears. For once.
