Former ICE Director and current Border Czar Tom Homan has blasted President Biden for intentionally creating America’s border crisis. In a bombshell interview with sports commentator Stephen A. Smith, Homan exposed how the administration deliberately dismantled successful Trump-era policies that had kept illegal immigration under control.
At a glance:
- Tom Homan accused the Biden administration of purposefully allowing millions of illegal immigrants into the U.S.
- Homan highlighted how Biden reversed Trump’s effective border policies on day one of his presidency
- Despite Mayorkas claiming the border is secure, CBP has reported millions of illegal crossings since 2021
- Homan suggested Biden’s immigration policies may be a political strategy to increase Democratic influence
- ICE has reportedly increased deportation efforts threefold compared to the previous administration
Biden Administration Accused of Intentional Border Crisis
Former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan delivered a scathing assessment of President Biden’s immigration policies during an appearance on “The Stephen A. Smith Show.” Homan, in true Homan style, was abundantly straight forward about what’s going on at the border.
Specifically, Homan pointed out that both Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas served in the Obama administration, which had stricter immigration enforcement than the Biden administration. For that reason, he suggested that the entire thing was completely coordinated, and that President Joe Biden knew exactly what he was doing.
That’s…dark.
Day One Policy Reversals Fueled Border Crisis
Homan highlighted how Biden systematically dismantled Trump’s successful border policies immediately upon taking office. The former ICE Director explained that Biden halted border wall construction, ended the “Remain in Mexico” policy, and terminated asylum cooperation agreements with Central American countries.
These policy changes sent a clear message that encouraged mass migration, according to Homan. Stephen A. Smith noted during the interview that even President Obama deported more illegal immigrants than Trump, questioning why Biden has taken such a drastically different approach.
Perhaps most concerning were Homan’s assertions about the potential political calculations behind Biden’s border policies. The former ICE Director suggested that flooding the country with illegal immigrants could be part of a strategy to boost Democratic influence through future redistricting and potential voter base expansion.
Despite Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas repeatedly claiming the border is secure, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has reported millions of illegal immigrant encounters since fiscal year 2021. This stark contradiction between the administration’s public statements and the reality on the ground further supports Homan’s allegations of deliberate policy choices.
Homan also revealed that ICE has recently intensified deportation efforts, now operating at three times the capacity of the previous administration.
Biden did a lot of damage, and Homan his doing his best to undo it.
